Research:
Micro-level family interaction processes are considered to be the engines of child development. Studying these interaction patterns in moment-to-moment exchanges between parents and their children, seems thus the next step in order to advance theory and, in the long run, diagnostic processes and interventions. To this end, we developed JacNet a data-analytic method that allows to capture simultaneously the relative frequencies, the co-occurrences and sequential dependencies of the micro-coded behaviors in a network picture.
